USB Flash Drives

Kids today have it better. I guess technology has made things simpler. When you walk inside a school campus, they have their own laptops and can even connect to the internet through a wireless modem. We used to be able to connect through a desktop computer only and had to go to an internet shop or cafe just to research from the internet. Those who do not bring their laptops with them can still bring their files using a flash drive. They can divide their project to each group member and just bring their files with them the next time they meet. They can also just bring the presentation in a small USB drive and connect it to any computer. These drives also have large capacities so even if the presentation has lots of pictures or images it will still fit.

File backup

Big and small companies use computers. I guess it has become a necessity to have a computer to automate the whole system. It’s also faster in processing what we need. But one thing that is also needed is the back up of the system. There are times that our hard drives just crash for no reason. If the hard drive crashes, all of the files in there would be lost. It would be so stressful to think about what has happened to a week’s worth of files and that you have to redo everything from scratch. If you don’t have your own back up hard drive, there will be problems getting the necessary data that you need. An option is to use online backup where your important files and documents can be saved. Since your file is online, if there are problems with your computer at the office, you can still try using another computer to retrieve your documents. You can even continue working at home without saving the files to a disc or memory stick which we sometimes forget to bring after we have saved everything.
