It’s usually the time when your really concerned about your looks and are not confident once acne is on your face. There are home treatments and of course creams or medicines that are available. Some may be more comfortable with home treatments while others prefer what the doctor may prescribe them. When we get acne, we try to always clean our face or use some kind of cream or acne scar removal treatment available in the market. Sometimes we just get what is well known or what seems to be a best seller. But it may not work on all of us. We all have different skin on our faces and some may be more sensitive than others. It’s not that you can’t use any of those treatments but maybe it is better to learn about the product or get some feedback from others who have already used it to see how effective it was for them. It may not seem to be the specific product for you but if it worked for most people who have the same sensitive skin as you do, it may just work for you.

Taking Care of the Face

The skin on the face is quite different from the skin on the other parts of the body. It is quite sensitive compared to other parts. It also has to be taken care of. Our daily exercise and proper diet helps with the skin but sometimes we need more. We sometimes need something that would clean and also moisturize the skin on our face. But sometimes it’s just hard to get the best face cream for us and end up trying some stuff or several brands until we get the right one that would work for us. It sounds a bit hard but when you get the right cream for you, it would be smooth sailing afterwards. You would also gain more confidence to face everyone with healthy looking skin.

Away with Wrinkles

As we take care of our health and our body, we also take care of our skin. There are different areas of our body where the skin somehow are different from each other.  I guess it’s because of how that part of the body is used. Like for the arms and legs, the skin is more tight because of our muscles. But how about the skin on our face? It’s quite different and compared to other parts it is softer and smoother. It’s quite sensitive compared to other parts of the skin. It’s also quite obvious when there are fine lines on them. Unfortunately, these are also the things other people would see whenever we meet them and talk to them. If you feel that you want to look younger, the wrinkles should lessen. Taking care of your skin in a different way for the face is needed. Some would just use water and soap while others would put something else, others still would use some wrinkle cream to lessen the lines and also make them look younger and radiant. It also makes them look healthier and fit.

Benefits of Mangosteen

Getting a slimmer, sexier body seems to be the search of almost everyone and that probably explains the steadily growing market of dietary supplements all over the world. Bottled mangosteen extract, pu reés, and juices are now capturing an audience when it comes to aids for losing weight. The mangosteen has been reported to treat musco-skeletal and joint problems, skin conditions, respiratory ailments, blood control problems, allergies, and infections. It also contains a new class of potent anti-oxidants called Xanthones, concentrated in the fruit’s thick, purple rind. The health benefits are yet to be evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA), but many testimonials show how taking one to three ounces of mangosteen juice a day has worked wonders for one’s health.

No Mean Feet

Callouses, bunions, ingrown toenails, and corns are common ailments that our poor feet suffer. But more women than men experience these problems-thanks to our “form over function” mentality. Ultra-high heels, excessively pointed shoes, or ill-fitting footwear, place undue strain on our feet. Here, a few pointers on foot care:

feet

1. Bacteria or fungi develop in damp areas, so wipe your feet dry after washing them.

2. Avoid narrow, tight fitting, high heels. The tightness causes bunions, while the height exacts unnecessary pressure on your tendons.

3. When working out, wear shoes that will give your feet proper cushioning and support in the heel and arch area.

Skin Protection – Moiturizers and Sunscreens

Moiturizers and sunscreens use Vitamin C, which protects the skin from UV damage and vitamin E, which repairs rough skin. But dermatological studies led by American specialist Dr. Sheldon Pinnell show that, when coupled with ferulic acid(a discovered by-product of plants), vitamins C and E become more stable and far more effective. The result: Skin gets double the protection from the sun-screens.

Chemists working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) developed a biodegradable, non-toxic sunscreen called SoyScreen. SoyScreen could lead to a new class of cosmetic ingredients. It was developed by using an enzyme-based method to make an all-natural sunscreen from soy oil and ferulic acid, a natural antioxidant that filters out UVA and UVB sunlight. In February 2007, a variation of SoyScreen developed by Illinois-based iSoy Technologies started to be sold as a key active ingredient in a wrinkle-prevention skincare product. This soybean-based ingredient should soon appear in cleansers, haircare products, anti-aging and protective soaps.
